Bagel is okay....its on the smaller side and a bit tough in terms of texture. Do not expect a NYC bagel or anything close to it. I would say it can satisfy your craving for a bagel but do not come here expecting a "NYC" style bagel. I came twice before leaving a review and can confirm the actual bagel is "okay". I also spent close to $70 for 4 people (with coffee, juice and a side of cream cheese) which is a bit crazy considering its a bagel spot lol Service is good and the actual restaurant is cute over all, very "on brand" for Hyde Park...

As I entered at 3 PM on a Monday, I was the only guest in the store. I was greeted promptly while I looked at the menu. The lady behind the counter was not exactly welcoming, but she wasn’t rude either. I told her hello and asked her how she was doing and she gave me a curt reply of “fine”. I ordered the smoked BLT bagel sandwich on an everything bagel. The employee were treated to the back and swiftly made my food. I did appreciate that the sandwich was cut in half because it is quite large. The amount of bacon and cheese and tomato and lettuce topped with che cheese on the sandwich were plentiful. There’s also a free water station set up for the guest use. The bagel seemed very fresh.

I had an amazing experience at Sesame. The food was fresh, flavorful, and honestly hit every time—especially the breakfast options. Everything came out quick, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The vibe was chill and clean, making it a perfect spot to start your day. Definitely a top-tier breakfast place.

We just had great breakfast bagels at Sesame here in Hyde Park Village. The lox and cream cheese on an Everything and the sausage, egg and cheese on Asiago were stand out hits. Def coming back!

Had to leave a review because this place seriously blew me away. Sesame Hyde Park made hands down the BEST bacon, egg, and cheese I have ever had in my life and I do not say that lightly. The bagel was perfect, everything tasted super fresh, and it was just one of those sandwiches you think about later. I also got an iced vanilla coffee, and it was spot on. Not overly sweet like most places do, just smooth and really well balanced. What really made the experience though was the staff. Everyone was friendly, but Jack in particular went above and beyond. Super attentive, great attitude, and genuinely cared that we had a good experience. You can tell when someone actually takes pride in their work, and he absolutely does. If I could hire him myself, I would. This is not a paid review or hype, just genuinely one of the best breakfast experiences I have had. 10/10, will be coming back.
